Deposits and Payments
To calendar a firm date, 50% of the total fee must be paid 90 days in advance. If your expected cruise date is less than 90 days before departure, 100% of the charter or excursion fee must be paid before your cruise date will be confirmed. Deposits are non-refundable. However, if your travel plans are changed for emergency reasons, we will re-schedule for a later date.
If maintenance issues or anything within the control of Island Cat were to prevent you from enjoying your booked cruise date, we will provide you with an alternative date that works within your travel plans, or refund your money completely.
Island Cat is not responsible for weather conflicts or the Port Captain closing the Port. However, in either of these circumstances, we will issue you an assignable, three-year cash certificate that may be used the same as cash for any future activities aboard Island Cat.
If you have prepaid a private charter or excursion, and voluntarily cancel your trip within ninety days of your departure date, we will provide you with a prepaid certificate good for three years, thereby allowing you to reorganize your affairs and go out at a later date. If you voluntarily cancel your prepaid trip more than ninety days in advance of departure, we will refund your money in full.
Returning guests receive a 10% discount.
Subject to scheduling issues, and the captain's approval, private charter guests are permitted to extend cruise time. The charge is US $400 for every additional hour away from the dock.
